Aquatics & Rec Swim

SWIMMING RESERVATIONS are encourage for ALL sessions prior to visiting the pool. If you make a reservation online, you will have priority over those buying their tickets at the window.


Stanislaus County Police Activities League is happy to offer youth swim lessons at the Regional Water Safety Training Center, also known as the Empire Pool. Our goal is to teach basic personal water safety information and skills to help each individual feel comfortable in the water. We offer levels Pre-School to level 2, students will have an opportunity to progress through our Learn to Swim Program and build knowledge and water skills. See below for additional information.

Learn to Swim Lessons- $40.00 per Session.

Swimming lessons will be offered Tuesday- Friday. The cost is $40.00 per child for 8 lessons. Scholarships are available ONLY to those families unable to pay regular fees. Must be able to provide income verification. This year, registrations will be online only.

Facility Rental/Exclusive Use Rental

The Empire Pool rents its facility for private gatherings. This is a great facility to host small gatherings for children and families. The rental period is for 2.5 hours. During the rental period, you are free to host a children's party so children can recreate safely with access to a big pool and water feature pool. The Water feature pool is up to 1'2" deep, and the big pool is 4'5" deep. Its shallow pools allow for children to cool off and play in the water. We also have lifejackets available for use free of cost.
