SWIM LESSONS

Stanislaus County Police Activities League is happy to offer youth swim lessons. Our goal is to teach basic personal water safety information and skills to help each child feel comfortable in the water. We offer levels Pre-School and Levels 1-4/5, so students will have an opportunity to progress through our Learn to Swim Program and build knowledge and water skills.

Each lesson is 45 minutes long and each class is kept at a ratio of 6 to 1, meaning 1 instructor for every 6 students. Prior to each class, the instructor will go over safety tips as well as the do's and dont's when around the water. After each class, students will be given the opportunity to recreate in the water feature pool for approximately 15 minutes. Students are also encouraged to either visit the pool as much as they can or swim at any other facility to ensure they continue to practice what is being covered in their classes.

We look forward to having you and see you at the pool!
