In 1996, Stanislaus County Police Activities League (SCPAL) collaborated with Stanislaus County Parks & Recreation Department to provide recreation services at various park locations throughout the County. The goal of this collaboration was to allow children and families to utilize county park facilities in a good and positive way. Criminal and antisocial activities in some parks were discouraging children and families from taking full advantage of these county recreation facilities.
When SCPAL started providing programs at the various park sites the rate of criminal activities at these locations decreased dramatically and more children and families are using the amenities offered at the parks as well as activities SCPAL is providing.
Currently Stanislaus County PAL provides recreation services at the following Stanislaus County locations:
Keyes Community Center/Hatch Park
- Located at: 5506 Jennie Ave. Keyes, CA
- Program Hours: Monday through Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm
- Summer Hours: Monday through Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm

- Type of services: Tutoring, computer lab, outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, field trips, summer lunch, etc.
Grayson United Community Center
- Located at: 800 Laird St. Grayson, CA.
- Program Hours: Monday through Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm
- Summer Hours: Monday through Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Oregon Park
- Located at: Oregon Drive & Empire Avenue, Modesto, CA.
